6.26 What are the distinctive ways in which managers, especially senior managers, share information with employees and foster a culture of transparency? Our Culture of Transparency Is Set at the Top UPDATED: Cottage is committed to providing clear, honest communications with employees. It is an essential part of our culture and is led by example by President and CEO, Ron Werft, and the executive team. In turn, employees are encouraged to engage in transparent two-way communication at all levels throughout the organization. Employee Forums UPDATED: In the spring and fall of each year, President and CEO, Ron Werft, hosts employee forums to discuss employee questions and provide updates on facility improvement, regulatory changes, budget and finances, operational changes, key industry issues, quality metrics, community health issues, patient satisfaction, employee engagement and any other topic that employees want to discuss. The forums are open to all employees and include sessions at all campuses held at various times to accommodate all shifts.
