Cottage Health 2020 Culture Audit

Employee Input for Organization Changes and Steering Committees The thoughts and ideas from our employees are valued. In large-scale change, like in Phase 4 of new construction, nurses had input on room design. So, a mock room was built for their review and feedback to ensure it best met the needs for patients and staff. For the Epic software (CottageOne) installation, a collaborative CottageOne Model was created where many employees from different departments had input on what was needed from the program. The successful implementation led to the single, integrated system, organizational unification and the goal of one patient, one record. This allows Cottage physicians, nurses and other staff to have a single source for patient information versus disparate systems. For change implementation success on projects large and small, a designated change management consultant engages employees in assessment of change readiness and needs. 73/119 Start | Contents | Highlights | Business Description | Hiring & Welcoming | Inspiring | Speaking | Listening | Thanking | Developing | Caring | Celebrating | Sharing • Listening 6.28
