CARE Program – Employees Help Each Other NEW: The Cottage Health CARE (Cottage Assistance & Relief for Employees) Fund supports Cottage employees who are impacted by personal hardships and/or natural disasters. It’s a new, tax-deductible philanthropic opportunity for employees to help others in the Cottage family. When a co-worker is faced with an emergency situation that creates a financial burden, the CARE Fund provides short-term assistance with housing, food, transportation, and other basic needs. This program evolved from the Employee Emergency Assistance Program. Created during the local natural disasters of 2017 and 2018, this program provided financial assistance to employees as well as temporary housing and transportation. Medical, Dental, Vision Benefits UPDATED: We provide extensive health insurance coverage at affordable rates for employees and their families, with full coverage when care is accessed at our hospitals. Cottage Health covers approximately 80% of insurance premiums Paid Time Off Program We provide a generous PTO program as well as “kin care” leave, paternity leave and time off for voting and paid jury duty. Employees may use PTO for vacation, to care for a sick family member, visit a doctor or attend a child’s school event. Paid Time Off (PTO) Donation Our unique PTO donation program allows employees to donate their PTO to employees who experience catastrophic events.
