Total Rewards NEW: Cottage Health makes a significant investment in Total Rewards programs (compensation, benefits and recognition) and analyzes them annually to ensure they remain market-competitive with over 300 hospitals and health systems throughout California. On our employee engagement surveys, employees consistently rank our Total Rewards programs highly and comment that “the benefits here are great.” Shared Governance – All Voices Are Valued Shared Governance is a significant part of our culture, and we believe it has been a key to our success. Shared Governance at Cottage Health is a system of accountability that builds a positive partnership between staff and management that results in a meaningful and respectful work environment. Shared Governance promotes employee creativity, allows employees to own and solve problems, and establishes an atmosphere where all work collaboratively to meet our patients’ health care needs. Each department has a Shared Governance team, with a mix of management and non-management employees, to bring forward ideas for process improvement and implement positive change. 44/119 Start | Contents | Highlights | Business Description | Hiring & Welcoming | Inspiring | Speaking | Listening | Thanking | Developing | Caring | Celebrating | Sharing • Hiring & Welcoming 6.24
